ESPAÑOL: Capelu crea artesanías que combinan múltiples elementos naturales y artificiales, siempre bajo la premisa de rescatar y reutilizar piezas ya usadas, provenientes de antiguos collares “vintage”, joyas encontradas en la calle o abandonadas en el cajón de la abuela, pedazos de telas descartadas, plásticos y botellas. A todo esto se le agregan detalles hechos con materiales innovadores como fibra de angelina, hilo de seda, fieltro y cintas de colores que son cuidadosamente manejadas y armadas, creando piezas únicas, híbridas, que pueden lucirse en cualquier ocasión.
ENGLISH: Capelu creates crafts that combine multiple natural and artificial elements, always under the premise of rescuing and reutilizing pieces that have already been used that come from vintage necklaces, jewelry found one the street or abandoned in grandma’s drawers, discarded pieces of fabric, plastics and bottles. All this is combined with details made from innovative materials like shiny angelina fiber, silk thread, colored felt and ribbon that are carefully handled and assembled into a unique, one-of-a-kind, hybrid jewelry pieces that can be worn on every occasion.
